    Driven by its connected factory project, Matra Électronique reinforces the digital continuity of production data by designing new generation production software or MES (Manufacturing Execution System).

    Faster, more intuitive, more ergonomic and more complete, the MES 4.0 by Matra Électronique has the HORIZON label. It will be deployed on our current site and transferred to our new production site, based in Venette (60).



    More than 4 200 operations are reported every day in our Manufacturing Execution System.

      Digitizing the manufacturing processes and promote creative thinking

      At the heart of Industry 4.0, MES offers multi-source and multi-media interconnectivity, a requirement for the digitalization of manufacturing processes. To this end, the production control software is connected in real time to our planning system or ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). This software suite is fed daily by our business, scheduling and methods teams. The tool designed for production operators, includes manufacturing instructions, production monitoring, quality steps monitoring and the data necessary for the traceability of our products. Developped internally by our IT teams, it ensures the continuity of the digital chain from the creation of the Fabrication Order (OF) to the finished product.

      For more than 10 years, Matra Électronique has deployed and maintained an active continuous improvement approach to optimize and adapt its processes to the challenges of tomorrow. This Lean step is essential and prior to the digitization initiated through our 4.0 roadmap launched in 2016. Concerned about promoting creative thinking and expression of our operators in the field, our new MES includes an online idea submission feature. With one click, ideas for improvement or innovation are directly transmitted to our T2i teams (Team of Improvement & Innovation).
